About STARLING

Answer seven timed space prompts and use recognized rare answers to send a pixel rocket farther along its route.

STARLING is the work currently published at Krilliononline.com. It is an independent space-themed word adventure, not the official Krillion game or a connection to Krillion’s question service. Start the countdown, read a space prompt and type one answer before the 25-second timer runs out. Submit with Enter or Boost; an unrecognized answer can be replaced while the same timer keeps running.

There are seven fixed prompts. Each prompt has a curated list of accepted answers and explicit aliases. Recognized answers earn preset rarity points: these values are assigned in the local answer bank, rather than calculated from live player frequency. A plausible answer can still be missing from the list, so try another or pass instead of assuming the game evaluates any free-form response.

Only a correct recognized answer moves the rocket one sector. Passing or timing out uses the question, awards no points and leaves the route position unchanged. Answering all seven correctly reaches the cosmic horizon; otherwise the result reflects the location actually reached. You may replay the same prompts to improve a browser-local best score. There is no daily rotation, random question archive, shared leaderboard or multiplayer mode in this version.

About the game

The GameHubs registry uses the project identifier Krillion Unlimited, but the live work is titled STARLING. Its pixel scenes, fixed prompt bank and local scoring make it a separate single-player game. OttersPlay keeps the published title so players can identify the work they actually open.

Questions about STARLING

Is STARLING the official Krillion game?

No. It is an independent game at Krilliononline.com, inspired by the rare-answer format. It does not use the original Krillion question service.

Do I get a different set of questions every day?

No. The current version replays the same seven prompts and has no daily puzzle or random question archive.

Does the score measure how unusual my answer is among real players?

No. Rarity values are preset in the local answer table. They are not live player statistics.

What happens when an answer is not recognized?

It earns no points and does not advance the round. Try another answer before time runs out, or use Pass.

Tips for STARLING

  • Treat the seven prompts as a replayable challenge rather than a daily quiz.
  • Try another valid term when the curated list does not recognize your first answer.
  • Passing saves an attempt at a difficult prompt but does not move the rocket.
