Tailgrab
About Tailgrab
Skate as an animal pro, link flips and grinds, join multiplayer sessions and build your own parks.
Tailgrab puts an animal skater in a shared 3D skate park. Start with the tutorial, build speed and learn a clean ollie before chasing long combos. Holding the ollie input crouches the skater; releasing it jumps. A successful landing keeps the run going, while a badly aligned landing can waste the tricks you have just linked.
Add a flip or a held grab in the air, then approach a rail or ledge for a grind. Directional inputs change the trick, so learn one combination at a time instead of pressing every button at once. Special tricks depend on filling the meter. Career goals and missions give a short session a purpose even when you are exploring the park at your own pace.
The game supports public multiplayer skating and player-built parks. Competitive modes include Trick Attack, Graffiti and H-O-R-S-E; a live session still depends on the game server and available players. The keyboard can automatically choose a WASD or arrow-key layout, which also changes the trick buttons. Read the current on-screen prompts or select a layout in settings before learning a sequence. Touch and gamepad interfaces offer alternatives to a keyboard.
About the game
Tailgrab Freeskater is an independent skateboarding game from gamestd.io. Its published credits name Three.js and Colyseus. The animal cast and skate parks belong to this project; it is inspired by the trick-combo genre rather than presented as an official Tony Hawk game.
Made by gamestd.io / Endel Dreyer.

Questions about Tailgrab
How do you ollie in Tailgrab?
Hold Space in the default keyboard layouts, then release it to jump. On touchscreens, use the labeled ollie button. Build speed first and concentrate on landing before adding another trick.
Why are my trick keys different from a guide?
The WASD and arrow-key layouts use different flip, grab and grind buttons. Automatic layout selection follows movement input. Check the live prompts or choose a fixed layout in settings.
Can I skate with other people?
Yes. Tailgrab includes shared skate sessions and competitive modes. A multiplayer server connection is required, and an empty room does not guarantee human opponents will join.
Does Tailgrab work on a phone?
It includes a touch interface with a directional stick and labeled trick buttons. This is evidence of touch support, rather than a guarantee of smooth performance on every phone.
Tips for Tailgrab
- Finish the tutorial once before skipping into a park.
- Practice an ollie-to-grind line before attempting a long combo.
