About FighterZ Tactics

Dragon Ball FighterZ meets Teamfight Tactics. Draft anime fighters, manage gold economies, trigger character synergies, and duel AI or real opponents on a tactical grid.

In FighterZ Tactics, players build an elite roster of Dragon Ball warriors by spending Zeni in a randomized champion shop each round. The roster features beloved characters across eras: Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, Frieza, Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, and Broly.

Combat takes place on a hexagonal arena grid. Once the preparation timer elapses, units dash across the battlefield automatically, exchanging melee combos, charging Ki meters, and unleashing screen-shattering cinematic supers like the Spirit Bomb, Kamehameha, and Final Flash based on positioning.

Collecting 3 matching character cards combines them into empowered 2-star and 3-star variants with multiplied base statistics. Synergy traits (Saiyan, Android, Universe 7, Z-Fighter, Villain, God Ki) award powerful passive buffs to your squad. The game offers solo practice against 7 AI bots, private multiplayer rooms with friends, and global ranked ladders.

About the game

FighterZ Tactics (popularly known across social media as Dragon Ball TFT) is an original community-developed fan game built with HTML5 WebGL and WebGPU technology, rather than an emulator port. The project incorporates 2D fighting game character sprites, voice audio clips, and dramatic super moves inspired by Arc System Works' Dragon Ball FighterZ, mapping them seamlessly onto the round-based tactical board mechanics of Teamfight Tactics and Auto Chess. The project circulated widely after being highlighted by Dexerto and gaming accounts on X, though the core developers remain anonymous.

Tips for FighterZ Tactics

  • Avoid spending all your Zeni early; saving up past 20 or 30 Zeni generates passive interest gold that lets you level up much faster in the mid-game.
  • Tripling identical champion cards merges them into 2-star and 3-star powerhouses with multiplied combat stats and devastating supers.
  • Focus on team synergies such as Saiyan, Android, or Z-Fighter; activating trait thresholds gives your entire squad massive combat multipliers.

An unofficial Dragon Ball auto-battler fan creation. Not a port.
