About Voxel Musou
Lead a voxel officer through crowded battlefields, combine normal and charge attacks and build a Musou gauge.
Voxel Musou turns Three Kingdoms battlefield action into a voxel-style browser game. Choose Story for the Shu campaign or Trials for a separate challenge or free battle. The current project describes seven officers with different move sets, campaign objectives and difficulty choices, rather than only the early Zhao Yun-versus-soldiers demonstration seen in some clips.
Tap J or the left mouse button for normal attacks. Insert K or the right mouse button at different points in the normal string to produce charge finishers. That timing is the useful distinction: a charge is part of the combo system, not simply a stronger replacement for every normal strike. Jump, dodge and change position when a crowd surrounds you, and use the full gold gauge for a Musou attack.
Read the current mission objective instead of clearing random soldiers indefinitely. Officers and story encounters can ask for rescues, defense or pursuit. R recenters the camera or faces a nearby officer; clicking the field can capture the mouse for camera movement. Keyboard, mouse and gamepad bindings are shown in the title-screen Controls menu. This is a solo action project with a desktop-oriented interface; a rendered scene on a phone is not evidence that touch combat is supported.
About the game
Bubu Studio describes Voxel Musou as a childhood-inspired Dynasty Warriors homage built with Claude Opus 5.5. It is an unofficial fan project, not a release from KOEI TECMO. The repository publishes its code and credits; that does not imply blanket permission to reuse another franchise’s branding or assets.
Made by Bubu Studio.

Questions about Voxel Musou
Is Voxel Musou an official Dynasty Warriors game?
No. It is Bubu Studio’s unofficial homage. The playable link opens the standalone fan project, rather than an official game or the Bubu article that introduces it.
How do charge combos work?
Build a normal string with J or left click, then insert K or right click at a chosen point. Different timings produce different finishers. Learn one officer’s short chain before extending it.
How do I trigger Musou?
Fill the gold gauge through play, then press I in the keyboard layout. The gamepad equivalent is shown in the Controls menu. An empty gauge will not trigger the attack.
Does it support phones or multiplayer?
The checked controls cover keyboard/mouse and gamepad for solo play. Dedicated touchscreen combat and a multiplayer service were not verified, so neither is promised here.
Tips for Voxel Musou
- Use a short normal-to-charge chain before learning the full string.
- Track mission markers and officer threats rather than only the soldier count.
Unofficial Dynasty Warriors-inspired fan project. Not affiliated with KOEI TECMO.
