About PokéBonk
A fast-paced 3D Pokémon survivor game in your browser. Battle wild hordes across Kanto, evolve mid-match, and defeat Gym Leaders in intense arena runs.
In PokéBonk, you choose a starter monster and drop into vast 3D wilderness plateaus teeming with unrelenting swarms of wild Pokémon. Your monster fires standard attacks automatically based on range and cooldowns, letting you focus on navigation, dodging incoming swarm charges, and collecting fallen experience orbs.
As you defeat waves and level up, you select from randomized upgrades, passive damage multipliers, defensive shields, and iconic Pokémon moves. Reaching milestone levels triggers full in-match evolutions—such as Charmander evolving into Charmeleon and Charizard—dramatically altering your hitboxes, stats, and attack patterns.
Surviving the timer summons legendary Gym Leaders and boss monsters with unique telegraph patterns. Charging your energy meter unleashes a character-specific Ultimate move (press Space or E) that wipes the screen. The game features all 151 original Kanto Pokémon to unlock and master across repeated roguelike survival attempts.
How PokéBonk was made with AI
PokéBonk was developed by indie creator Charcher (@ImCharcher) and debuted in October 2026, quickly going viral across gaming communities. The creator disclosed employing generative AI tools to assist in producing select 3D textures, models, and audio elements. The title runs natively in web browsers using WebGL shaders, delivering high-framerate 3D horde survival mechanics reminiscent of Vampire Survivors and Megabonk without requiring client plugins or downloads.
