About Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Status update (budokait3.com): We stopped linking to budokait3.com in October 2026: the site runs Adsterra ads and points visitors to a download of the full game disc image, which is not something we can send players to. Looking for something playable right now? Try Shell Shockers, Ragdoll Archers or browse all working browser ports.

The PS2 arena fighter in a browser tab, with the site claiming 161+ fighters and 36 destructible arenas.

OttersPlay stopped linking to the former host after earlier checks found forced advertising and a full-disc download link. This is an archive and status page; the historical feature claims below are attributed to the former host and do not describe a game launched here.

A 3D arena fighter: one-on-one and tag combat in destructible arenas, with aerial movement, ki blasts, charged attacks, guards and dashes. The site claims 161+ characters and 36 arenas.

Campaign progress, item customisation and unlocks save to the browser every five seconds, and you can export or import a JSON backup. Keyboard layouts and Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro pads are supported.

About the game

The site says it runs the game through WebAssembly and WebGL 2 on an open-source reverse-engineering engine, and that its server ships only open-source binaries, with no disc image hosted. It also uses the word emulation in its own headings, so we describe it as the site describes itself rather than picking a side.

Questions about Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Can I play Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on OttersPlay?

No. OttersPlay does not host the game or link to the former host. This page documents the browser project and points to other fighting games.

Why was the launch link removed?

Earlier checks found forced advertising and a full-disc download link at the former host. The page remains as a status record rather than a game launcher.

Are the recommended games versions of BT3?

No. They are separate browser games, with their own creators and mechanics.

An independent browser port of a classic game, not an AI original. OttersPlay does not host game files and is not affiliated with the original publisher. Some projects require files from your own copy.

Project note: Dragon Ball is Akira Toriyama, Bird Studio, Shueisha, Toei Animation and Bandai Namco’s property. The site says it hosts no disc images and that you must own the game, but that is its claim rather than a licence.
