About Taipei Rush
An original GTA-style driving game set in Taipei, made with help from AI.
A GTA-inspired open world set in a stylised Taipei with real street names. Walk, ride scooters, drive and take the MRT between Ximending, Taipei 101 and Shilin Night Market. The story follows a newcomer protecting grandma's street from redevelopment.
Traffic laws apply: red lights and speed cameras count, and police wanted levels go up to five stars. Your in-game phone holds quests, the map, weather, radio and a camera. Updates have added Hong Kong, Kaohsiung and Tokyo.
How Taipei Rush was made with AI
Taiwanese media reported that the developer spent more than US$10,000 on AI tokens building it. It launched as 'Taipei GTA' before being renamed Taipei Rush (臺北狂飆).
