A futuristic anti-gravity racer in the spirit of F-Zero and WipEout. Modes include a Championship, a story mode with cups, Free Race, and an Arcade menu with Quick Race, Time Trial, Elimination ('be the last ship standing'), 1v1 Duel and a Daily Challenge that is the same race for everyone each day.
Ships take damage and repair a little each lap. Tracks range from Mist City by day and night to Collapse, which circles a black hole, and Guayota on an erupting Mount Teide.
How Formula Minus One was made with AI
A WebGPU racer with a WebGL fallback, built on Three.js. Community lists credit OpenAI Codex and Claude; the game's credits focus on its open-source references, such as an FFT ocean and Teide National Park elevation data.
